How would you describe the relationship between Representaciones MERELO and AGA ?

When we began to work the founders of the company were still present and they were very welcoming . Over the years during our relationship we have seen the evolution of AGA and we have been able to witness its growth and how it has been able to adapt to each and every one of the demands made by the market. Today, we can affirm AGA is a reference in the locksmith world.

What aspect of the market do you consider to be unique and individual in the Levante region in respect to other areas of Spain ?

We do not believe it to be much different from the rest of the national market. Having gone through different stages over the past years, we can see that the traditional industry is making way for a new,  more updated industry, one which is constantly evolving. This situation leads to the professionals having more knowledge, becoming much more skilled and therefore more meticulous. Nowadays, the clients are looking for a quality product , up-to-date and good value for money.

How do clients rate the knowledge and experience of a company such as AGA, present in the sector for over 50 years ?

Undoubtedly, it is one of the strengths which allows us to differentiate ourselves from our opposition/competitors. Nowadays clients value that, they know that AGA has a long trajectory in the market and over the years we have been able to adapt to their needs, manufacturing specialised products  and developing customised made solutions.

As an expert judge of the company, what competitive advantages would you highlight as its most important ?

The greatest advantage of AGA is the fact that it is a versatile and modern company. We are national manufacturers and that characteristic allows us to be prepared to address with guarantee whatever situation arises and respond to our clients demands and the market in general.

Being manufacturers in present times, is a huge competitive advantage, it allows you to offer just about any solution.

How do you envision the evolution of a sector which is steadily advancing towards a digitalised world ?

The digital era is here, it is no longer a question of the future, it is the present. The younger professionals in this sector are a digital generation. This new panorama and the advantages it entails, allows us to work in a setting with greater control, with information available from any place, at any time.

This change can be seen in the locksmith sector, with the denominated intelligent locks. The mechanical component of the lock continues be to important but, added to this is the electronic component which provides versatility and information from the digital field. It is reassuring to know that AGA’s I+D+i is currently working on the development of new products.
